The Muslim Educational Society
The Muslim Educational Society (MES) was founded in Calicut in 1964 under the dynamic leadership of the late Dr. P.K. Abdul Ghafoor. What began as a modest educational initiative has grown into one of the largest educational organizations in the country, managing more than 150 institutions across India.
MES operates medical colleges, engineering colleges, arts and science colleges, technical training centers, and schools. We cater to the educational aspirations of all segments of society, with a particular focus on empowering backward and rural communities through professional and technical skills development.
Our ITI campus in Mundur, Palakkad carries forward this rich heritage, keeping vocational training affordable, accessible, and high-quality.
